Gateway Visitor Center Use
The Gateway Visitor Center space is available for events, meetings and workshops. A suggested donation of $250 per day, if the use is after 11 AM, and $500 if that use is for the entire day. The Gateway is a beautiful, very unique venue. It is a Platinum LEED certified building (a first of its kind in the US when completed) overlooking the ocean just one mile South of the Kona airport, with a large parking lot. This fee includes our AV equipment, WiFi, ADA accessibility, two-maintained restrooms, chairs, tables, easels, a large front lanai and shaded back lanai. Users can utilize the 64 inch smart-TV Samsung plasma screen connected to a laptop, or the large drop-down screen that can be use with a projector, along with our many chairs and tables. It is easily recognized and a well-known community space, making it easy to find for first-time visitors.
