“Educating and inspiring people of all ages toward the responsible use of renewable resources for energy, aquaculture, research, STEM economic development and conservation is our new vision,” states Candee Ellsworth, KCS executive director. “To this end, we will share information about HOST tenants and others practicing the culturally sensitive and environmentally sound use of sunlight and seawater for a sustainable future for Hawaii.”

Keahole Center for Sustainability can also provide, upon request, customized educational programs to meet curriculum needs, or to address issues your educational groups would like to learn more about. We are able to offer these customized needs virtually or with a more engaging “hand’s on” approach, which can also include a service learning aspect.
