Keahole Center for Sustainability has some great items available to the public for a donation! Items can be purchased at the Gateway Center during business hours. If you would like to purchase and have them sent please email kcs@kcshi.org or call 808-329-8073.
We have four different hand boilers available for a donation of $10. This is a great science toy that we use here to describe how Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion works. You could also use the hand-boiler to demonstrate how Charles’s Law works as well. It contains ethyl alcohol and comes packed in bubble wrapping in a cardboard box-available in red, green, blue and purple.
